Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the surgery has had to adapt and work in different ways.
In line with National guidance, we are operating a remote triage service. This means that all requests for appointments receive a telephone call. This helps us to manage requests while maintaining a safe environment for patients to be seen.
After triage, some patients may be offered a video consultation or face to face assessment.
If you need to request a translator please inform the receptionist.
There are a limited number of routine appointments bookable up to two weeks in advance.
The majority of our routine appointments are made available on the day:
- Morning appointments are open for booking from 8.30am
- Afternoon appointments are open for booking from 3.30pm
The surgery also offers pre-booked consultations on Saturday mornings.

Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible.
In this respect, if you do need a home visit, please try to call reception before 10:00. Visits are normally carried out after morning surgery between 13:00 and 15:30.
You may only request a home visit if you are housebound or too ill to attend.
We triage all requests. Your GP will then decide how urgently a visit is needed or if you need to be sent to hospital. The GP will only visit you at home, if they think your medical condition requires it.
Please bear this in mind and be prepared to provide suitable details to enable the doctor to schedule house calls.
