Find out the latest guidance on coronavirus and how NHS services in Wandsworth are working to keep you safe
The NHS is currently offering the COVID-19 vaccine to people most at risk from coronavirus. The vaccine is being offered in some hospitals and from this week local vaccination centres run by GPs.
It's being given to:
- People aged 75 and over
- People who live or work in care homes
- Health and social care workers at high risk
The vaccine will be offered more widely, and at other locations, as soon as possible.
The order in which people will be offered the vaccine is based on advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
Please do not contact the practice regarding the vaccine. The NHS will let you know when it is your turn. It is important not to contact the NHS or your practice for a vaccination before then.
